Lisa Kraushaar, MFA
Lisa has spent (most of) her adult life watching the world from a window in New York City. There, she also studied jewelry design at the Fashion Institute of Technology and worked at Etsy.com for eight years. Since then she’s been the working artist at Longwood University and taught graphic design and digital fabrication. Viewing objects as artifacts, Lisa Kraushaar uses hyper saturated colors to capture our hyper saturated reality, reappropriating found imagery and text to activate personal space as an arena of social politics, engaging people in the now.
