Sofia Rock, MFA

Sofia Rock’s work is inspired by the ways in which the subconscious mind is translated into a tangible world. With interests in the body, intellect and where they interconnect within our natural and constructed environments. Additionally, her work stems from efforts to reclaim her own body and mind that had at times been lost. How does one express their inner cognition through a palpable sphere? How and why is one’s cognition developed the way it is? These are all questions she asks herself during her practice.
