Renee Ricci, BFA

Renee explores boundaries and intersections of the natural and artificial world, blurring and blending the lines to create work that incites curiosity. She is a scavenger, collecting fragments to combine into things that are at once familiar yet provocative. Conceived as tools, these objects suggest utility, but their particular purpose is unclear. Borne from experience and memory, built by necessity, this collection is intended to spark hopeful dialogues and inspire solutions. They create speculative tools to encourage a collaborative view of nature and humankind, imagining a truly sustainable future.
