Siyu Dong uses line to represent the life force. The work calls to mind rivers, rocks, light, shadow, and flight. The forms are seemingly escaping this world and growing outward. The work presents an opportunity to consider the inner self. Throughout the work, the forms are in dialogue—expressing freedom and constraint within organic structure.
